How do you stay focused and organized during the writing process?

Ross Victory Organization is key! Something I like to do is label my computer files with the date and the time to keep track of the latest version. Every time I touch the file I save it as a new file so I'm always working on the most current version.

In the actual document, I highlight and use notes on places that need more development are may feel a bit unclear. I try to focus on writing and moving on to save time.

Also, when I'm tired, I stop writing. When I'm inspired, I write. I learned the hard way that if you are forcing it, everyone (you, editor, reader) will suffer. Writing is difficult, but it shouldn't feel like torcher.
