Ross Victory Creating fantasy and alternative worlds that are better than here!
Ross Victory I say to align your intention. It will be difficult to write if you have not healed or are in the process of healing from whatever you want to share.

I also recommend telling YOURSELF the truth. Write for yourself and tell yourself the truth. Pretend like you are telling your inner child (the 7-year-old version of yourself) what happened in order for their PREPARATION for success.

Let the material rest. Read it back, see how it makes you feel. Also remember, you don't have to write stuff to publish it. So be honest at least with your self about how you feel about what has happened.
Ross Victory Organization is key! Something I like to do is label my computer files with the date and the time to keep track of the latest version. Every time I touch the file I save it as a new file so I'm always working on the most current version.

In the actual document, I highlight and use notes on places that need more development are may feel a bit unclear. I try to focus on writing and moving on to save time.

Also, when I'm tired, I stop writing. When I'm inspired, I write. I learned the hard way that if you are forcing it, everyone (you, editor, reader) will suffer. Writing is difficult, but it shouldn't feel like torcher.
Ross Victory Now that Views from the Cockpit is complete, I've been working on marketing in and getting as much visibility as possible.

My next project will be about a young boy stuck in the foster care system after losing all of his family members in a plane crash.
Ross Victory I like to play meditative music. Tibetan symbols, calming stuff. Sometimes ideas come to me in the car or when I'm having a conversation, so I use my voice recorder a lot, too. A little bud helps, too! ;)
Ross Victory Views from the Cockpit started as journal entries actually! The first version of the book was actually called Victory Unfolded. After I decided on the title, I just ran with the idea of making it a metaphor and developing that concept!
