Louise Anderson
Louise Anderson asked Leah Weiss:

How were you able to make your characters so real that I cried for Sadie, cheered for her last triumph, and ached when she lost her baby?

Leah Weiss Louise - forgive my oversight of your great question! The simple answer is that I cried, cheered and ached too even as I was writing. The scene where she miscarried was especially emotional. I was on the edge of my chair wondering what was going to happen until I knew the lost baby and Sadie's lament would be the lesson Kate needed to learn. It's complicated but the characters become real to me too, and I have to honor their story. Thanks for writing. Stay tuned for my next book!
