Where do you get your inspiration for your books? All of your books pull me in and I usually go without sleep to finish them. Lol. I greatly enjoy the suspense and story lines!
Christine Feehan
It starts out with an idea for a single book. All of my books can be read as stand-alone books because that’s my approach with my writing. As I write a book, I start to see the landscape of characters, places and potential.
I’m inspired by everything around me. The wind through the trees, a man in a restaurant leaning to whisper to a woman, the way an animal moves. Anything can inspire me. My Shadow series was inspired by watching my dogs run in and out of shadows. Life around me can inspire some wild ideas in my head.
Like I said, each book is a stand-alone story. You should be able to pick up any book, as a rule, and start reading from any point in the series.

Thank you I was informed on Friday 17th November that my cancer is in recurrence. Your books have have helped keep me sane. When I think what Peter Whitney done to Flame and what I must undergo once more, it makes my blood boil. Thank you for your wonderful books and helping me to retain my sanity. Will you continue with your Dark, Leopard People, Torpedo Ink, Shadow Rider series?

Hello Christine,
Just a quick question. I was going to pre-order Dark Hope on Amazon Australia but for some reason, it is priced at $34.99 whereas Amazon US is priced at $13.66. Even with the exchange rate this seems a little extreme. Also, Australia has Dark Hope as number 43 in the series but it should be number 38 as Dark Memory was number 37. Could you check this for me please? Thanks.
