How long does it take for you to write a Ghostwalker novel from idea to published book? Also how do you know which ghost-walker book to write in next do you have it plotted out somewhere or is it whichever character speaks to you next? PS I absolutely love the Ghostwalker series I will be sad whenever it and please don't let it ever end Thank you so much for answering our questions
Christine Feehan
I write the story as it comes to me and that means the character has to be speaking up. I've actually tried to write a character's story because I wanted them to be next just to have it not work out and then I have to start over and write the character who is speaking loudest.
I do a lot of research, especially for the GhostWalker series. So, there is dedicated time to that before I start. Then I write, which can take a couple of months or so. Once I turn it in to my publisher I'm finished and I go on to the next book. They plan all the release schedules.

Hi Christine, I love reading the Dark Series. I have a question about Lifemates. Are female lifemates always born after the male is born? We see that Gary's lifemate is still an infant as she had to be born after he was re-born . But in case of Ivory and Razvan, Ivory went to the mage school and knew Rhiannon, so doesn't it mean that she was born way before Razvan? How can they be lifemates in that case?
