Goodreads asked Adrienne D'nelle Ruvalcaba:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Adrienne D'nelle Ruvalcaba The idea for The Prostitute's Daughter came from my personal relationships with women who have endured great pain at the hands of men in their lives. Cece, the main character, was not emotionally ready to fall in love, but that doesn't make her unworthy of being loved by a good man like Shane. I wanted to write a story for women who have been so hurt they feel like they are too flawed to deserve love. Almost every woman romance reader looks for a little bit of herself in the heroine of a good book, and there are a lot of women out there who can relate to Cece's pain. This book is for them.
