I was born wanting to tell stories. Truly. I don't recall a time that I wasn't making up stories (forcing my poor sisters to listen to or read them). I think the inspiration was something I was born with.
That said, I have always been a voracious reader. So many authors and series inspired my love of reading and story. Sherlock Holmes, Nancy Drew, Little Women, the list goes on.

I am doing a reread of Dark Sentinel and in ch. 9 they have this discussion about life mates. How when the men are born their souls are torn in half. If they don’t find their life mate during that lifetime it goes on to be born again. So he has another chance. So what I was wondering Is why then when their life mate dies they either meet the sun or become a vampire. Why don’t they just wait for her soul to be reborn?

I don't understand the comment above about Lana or Alena's characters not speaking loud enough for their own book yet. The next book in the series i believe is about Player. He has barely had any mentions at all and no where near the storyline Alena has. It's almost like you can say Player Who? So is the real reason simply a marketing ploy to boost anticipation for Lana and Alena's stories?
