I thought it was odd that there was not even mention of a funeral. I thought Finn and Oz would have had a joint funeral and thought it was weird they did not;.

Just as in life... a topic this book covers well in my opinion. We just don’t always get closure. Things suck sometimes. We are left with the hope of Vance maybe staying there to find him, but either way personally I like that not everything gets wrapped up in a pretty bow at the end since most times in life they just don’t.

Finn did say Oz was gone from where she last saw him (in purgatory or wherever she was), when he took his last breath. She said he was probably taken away by animals or the elements.

I too, was hoping that the father and boyfriend would find his body but it appeared that they too, were looking in the wrong place and would never find it.
