what do you think the future of english will look like with computing technologies and AI, do you think language will become 3Dimensional and be able to transcribe better information at a higher bandwidth, than with just written language or sound waves?

Captain Curmudgeon
Captain Curmudgeon asked Dave Schaafsma:

Thank you, David. I feel Cormac McCarthy is currently the greatest writer alive (though Tom Wolfe is quite good). I find a lot of the post-modern authors works exhaustive, talent-less, and boring. Regurgitating cliches. I think the sincere works with little to no irony is refreshing that Cormac delivers. Any other authors you suggest?
