Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Robert K. Cooper The idea to write "The Conscience of An Agnostic" seemed to just come out of the blue. In reflecting on my own life as well as the history of our planet, I am struck by the apparent randomness of it all. I have four chapters in my book dealing with the random cruelty of life. I realize that this is not a very uplifting perspective and I'm not trying to depress my readers, but I feel that I must be intellectually honest in terms of my perception of reality.
