In what years do the Ascendence trilogy take place? Also, are you done writing your new book, the captive kingdom yet?

Hi Bob - Since it's fantasy, the Ascendance series isn't bound to our timeline. Roughly, it'd be the 1400s, but some things are quite ahead, such as their clothing and sensibilities. Others are behind, such as Carthya's discovery of gunpowder.
And yes, THE CAPTIVE KINGDOM is completely finished. I'm working now on Book 5!
