Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kevin Wimer The idea came to me while writing a different story. I wanted to write something that would show how bad human's can be to one another during a bad situation. It just happened to be that this situation is during the zombie apocalypse. Good people can either be really good or they can be really bad. I also wanted to show that bad people can have some redeeming qualities to them when things in the world go wrong. Not always, but it can happen.
