Marybelle asked Christine Feehan:

Thanks for answering that question about the models on the book covers. I’ve always wondered if the artists the publishers hire ever read the book before developing the cover. It’s the same with the trailers, there are always differences between the book and the trailer scenes. Do you have any input on those?

Christine Feehan I absolutely have a say in the trailers. But, the trailers a different than the covers in that sometimes you need to choose between someone who looks like the character and someone who can act. Sometimes you get stuck with few choices when you're on a timeline to complete the trailer. And, sometimes I like the person and that's why I choose them. How a character looks is very subjective so, I give more flexibility to those choices.
For example, the Drake Sisters series trailers have my daughters in them. Maybe they don't look exactly as you might imagine them, but they are exactly as I see them in my mind and my heart.
