Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Seth Clay "The Careless Kitty" is based on real events. It's a tribute book to my family's pet cat Calvin, which in the book is named "Rascal".

My wife and I were cleaning the house one day and, all of a sudden, there this rat crawling on the curtain. It was when we decided we should adopt a cat so we could get rid of mice around the house. A few months later, he went out for a walk and was gone for a day. My wife was 5 months pregnant at the time and you can imagine. To know the rest of the story, you have to read the book! lol
