After so many books in the Carpathian series, I was wondering if your sales were affected by the success of books like the Twilight Series, or if people responded differently to them. And who are your favorite male characters? Mine have always been Jacques and Razvan, but I admit stopping the series a very long time ago now. Shortly after Dark Slayer in fact. >.< But I still love the first 20 or so books.

Since Twilight isn't actually the same genre (it's young adult, so it's a difference audience) it's hard to say. I was never told by my publisher that there was a difference while Twilight was out. I was already a bestselling author by the time that all happened.
As far as my favorite, they are all my favorite. I do find that I love the one I'm writing as I'm writing him.

Sorry, I am in a rehab center, trying to recover, from major back surgery, got distracted by the nurse, and by the time I looked back, the computer had lost the page. I was trying, a long time Dark Series fan, it seems like something has changed in the reading order at around book five so I couldn't get a clear order, after Dark Magic, then, about the next 4 or five next books,? Thank you so much, Susan Hill
