I am enjoying all your series, my favorites are the Dark Series and Torpedo Road Series, as soon as you give notice one will be published soon, I order it from my library so Im one of the first to read. How did you come up with the Dark Series in the first place ?

I used to tell my children stories at night, particularly my oldest son Calvert. After I lost him, I was devastated. As a mother, you have to get up and carry on. The world keeps going and you're in this place of numbness. The Carpathians were born from that. Feeling no emotion. Feeling as if there was no color or joy in the world. What brought that back? For them "the one". For me it was family. So, I blended them together.

when i go to sleep i make up things in my head but i never thought of writting them down i have read alot but not encyclopedias only when i was in school yes i needed them i see u write other books other the dark,power,lepards, i saw here there are a few for me to look at getting love what u write i wish i could but i am the worse speller there is keep of the great work besafe when driving or on a plane ?

Christine, I have an additional question despite I'm a huge fan of your work of many years and I'm on your forum on your site and even read basically nearly all of your books by which my friend have referred me to your books and have gotten a kick out of reading them so much ever since! What is the best advice that you can give to anyone who wants to write books especially in my case?
