Morning! I was just wondering if the proceeds of your audiobooks go to you? I know that some of them were published while you were with your previous publishers but I didn't know if you got the rights for your work back.

Hey! They do not. Any audios already out (except for Heartsong and Why We Fight) are with Dreamspinner, and all the profits go to them before I ever see a cent. Dreamspinner wants to charge the authors to purchase back the rights for the audios, and since we haven't been paid, we can't afford it. DSP then said they would give us the rights back if they could take the funds out of what they owe us currently, which is a level of bullshit I can't even begin to comprehend. Going forward, however, any new release you see from me (either with Tor/Tor Teen or self-published ie Brothersong) will not involve DSP. Thanks! tj

Will A Wish Upon the Stars be available in paperback on the release date or will it be a digital version first and then later on be published in paperback? I cannot wait (mainly for the second and third book to come in the mail because I will die if I can't continue on as soon as I finish The Lightning-Struck Heart (: ).

Oh my gosh. Your books are the best and so funny!! I don't really have a question I just wanted you to know your books (audio version) have made me lol so many times. As well as other feels! But I need a question mark so...when you are writing do you crack the hell up while writing? Bc it's awkward, otters clams, Tyson's...well everything..so funny! And well actually ok a question...what's up with the animal names?
