Every Amazon review says it is 'life changing' but nobody appears to have actually read it, with most people saying they have just received it. What's the difference between this book and Beyond Training, which was marketed as being the last book you'd ever need for this sort of thing?

Justin I'd say that the big difference is that this book is for a more general audience and covers more topics. In fact it covers so many topics and suggestions that some may find that some of his suggestions don't have enough depth and should have had entire chapters of there own.

I did not like Beyond Training as I felt it was geared more towards endurance athletes. This book is much better for a general audience.

This book is also better researched. It is obvious that Ben put his time in on this one.
Beyond Training felt more like a quick cash grab on his fame. That is a bit of an exaggeration, but Beyond Training was a completely non memorable book for me. I imagine an endurance athlete might have thought better of it.

While I am not a huge fan of either book, this one is much better and it should be successful within its target audience of general health enthusiasts (though health nuts may want to stick to more targeted books).
