There's five more books (including one which was written by a different author some years after Douglas Adams' death).
The entirety of the books is too much to describe in one answer; in summary the main protagonists from book one travel around the universe (and time) and have many adventures.
Book four ends quite up-beat; book five ends miserably and book six ends ok.
