Technically, no it wouldn't be, because she's starting over from a real point in time - so it's a new branch. Even if she did, then Helena would have to do EVERYTHING exactly as she had in the original time line. The moment she diverges - she starts a new timeline/string. SO theoretically, if she ate a different meal, drove a different rout than she did...any number of potential butterfly effect actions - it's a new string. As the story goes, she is reluctant to do things exactly as first timeline b/c she is searching for a different result. The other let's say 'glitch', is that she is going back to 16 yrs old on a live memory that was mapped. The only way to get on the original timeline is to map a 'dead memory' of the first timeline before going into the tank. On all of her trips - she never goes back on a dead memory, because they believed it was impossible. when they tried it with heroin junkie test subject it didn't work. why? Crouch never explains - maybe it did work with the junkie and Slade kept it secret.
