I just recently started reading your books. Actually started with It Ends with Us because it was the monthly book for my book club group. Since then I have read Regretting You and am currently reading Verity. You are quickly becoming one of my favorite authors! I have loved everything I have read so far and I plan on reading another after Verity. My question is... do you see yourself writing a series in the future?

Colleen Hoover I like reading standalones, which also means I like writing standalones. I have a few books that have turned into series, but I consider them to be more like "bonus" books than a series, like the follow-ups to Slammed, Maybe Someday and Hopeless. Those three books can stand on their own and are complete stories, but they have follow-up books for readers who want more from the characters.
I'm just not a fan of writing cliff-hangers. I like my books to end with one book, so it's hard to say if I'll be able to write a full series in the future. I do have an idea for a series, but it'll probably be a while before I tackle it because it's a doozy.
