Colleen Hoover:
Hiii Colleen, I’ve been reading your books for like 4 years now and am almost caught up on all of them! I have not read Regretting You yet I’m waiting for the LA book signing next week to buy it there :D My top two are currently November 9 (first book I read of yours) and It Ends With US. Just wanted to ask if you could change anything little or big from one of your books what would you change?

OMG I would change so much in EVERY book. lol. It's very hard for me to go back and read my novels after they've been published because I would change every paragraph. I don't ever feel "finished" writing a book.
But I'd mostly go back to my earlier days. I think in Slammed, there's a lot of insta-love that I'd pull back on. And I was very friendly with the italics and bold lettering in that book. I cringe every time I see an italicized word from Slammed. lol
And in Hopeless, I think I'd pull back a little on the sex scene between Sky and Holder. At the time I was writing that book, I allowed myself to be influenced by the amount of sex in the New Adult books I was reading, so I felt a sex scene was necessary in Hopeless at the time. And while that scene is tragic, I do feel like I would like it better if it were written differently, especially considering Sky's age.
I've learned a lot in the eight years since I started writing. So yeah, definitely things I would change in a lot of my books, but I also like that I can't change these things, because you can see the progression of me as a writer and possibly me as a person with each book.
