Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jonathan Butcher I wrote this book with a friend and co-author, Leila Heidari-Faroughi; Leila is originally from Persia (Iran) the idea for the book was hers and she invited me to collaborate on it with her.
The vision behind this project was to present references to Persian culture and legend in such a way as to inspire children and young people of Iranian descent to remember and understand their cultural heritage, even though they were born or are growing up outside of Iran.
