I’m reminded that Shakespeare (whose Romeo and Juliet plays a major role in the novel) based all of his plays but one off the plots of preexisting works. Sometimes, we enjoy literature to see what the author did with a well-known story. Perhaps reading this might spark someone’s interest in reading the work it is based on. (less)
