I think you can read the books it whatever order you want as the books have no correlation to each other.

They can be read in any order. I would recommend, though, being familiar with the movie before reading the book - I think they are much more enjoyable that way.

i am currently rewading them and i am not reading them in order and i havent had an issue so i think its fine but definetly be familier with the original story before it makes it a cooler experiance
