How do you deal with writer’s block?

Albert Aykler Tacos help. So does pretending I'm not a writer, but someone giving advice to a writer who happens to be a lot like me. Then I follow that advice by writing it out. Pretty soon, I'm writing in reaction to my own lousy advice. An hour or two later I look up from my keyboard. The computer says I have written a bunch of words. Now, I don't have to be a writer anymore. I'm an editor. When I finish fixing what I did in reaction to my lousy advice, it looks a lot like I have written something. Who can say otherwise?
