Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Maria J. Andrade My most recent fiction novel, "Defiance and Redemption, A Lifetime of Unbroken Bonds," is based on true events that happened to my family, specifically my parents. The focus of the story is not just a passionate romance but the bond of friendship which helped three women who were born in the early 20th Century, to defy the rules of their culture, society, and religion, in order to gain integrity and define their own lives.
