My most recent fiction novel, "Defiance and Redemption, A Lifetime of Unbroken Bonds," is based on true events that happened to my family, specifically my parents. The focus of the story is not just a passionate romance but the bond of friendship which helped three women who were born in the early 20th Century, to defy the rules of their culture, society, and religion, in order to gain integrity and define their own lives.

Write, edit and get your book out to readers! It is alot of work but worth it if it means leaving something of worth that others can enjoy. Books can be great friends that open doors to positive perspectives or new worlds of possibility. That is why i call my website, www.booksasfriends.com

Interestingly, I haven't experienced it. On the contrary, I don't have enough time to write the books I have imagined. I wrote a children's book about a street dog who finds a home at Christmas, entitled,"Scrapper's Christmas Story." Finally, I have finished a Women's ficiton, novel, on the life of three women who were friends for over 80 years and into their nineties. It is based on a true story. Defiance and Redemption, A Lifetime of Unbroken Bonds is now available in major book stores.

I love Bill Bryson's books and will be reading his latest one on the Body.
I also plan to read a book by Daniel Mintie on Zen, motorcycle riding and Cogniitve Behavior therapy.
Books on physics such as those written by Brian Swimme are fascinating to me and I will look for that author.
