I totally second Warner's opinion; start with Obesity Code and go on to Diabetes Code. Not just for obese or diabetics, there is a lot of general science and health information. There is some overlap between the books, but repetition doesn't hurt, especially when it is very important. I also do intermittent fasting and it has also helped me lose weight and sugar levels.

Everyone can benefit from this book. You might start with the Obesity Code though. Dr. Fung strongly advocates for intermittent fasting. I have tried it and it works wonderfully. Down 10 pounds the last 2 months. Sugar levels are way down.
