On page 112 of Gabriel's Rapture Julia and Gabriel are arguing about the way Gabriel treated Paullina in the past, then he says to Julia "I met you first". But when he met Julianne he was doing drug and already lost Maia so actually he met Paullina first. What am I missing?

I know a lot of people that are dying to see Gabriel in a screen adaptation.
