Goodreads asked Houston Hare:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Houston Hare I don't believe in writer's block as an arbitrary force that keeps you from writing. Whenever I am struggling to motivate myself to writez there is a reason. Sometimes it is that I havent thought through the next scene/chapter/arc enough. So I drag my feet because I don't know what to write.

Other times it may be that I am doubting my abilities as a writer. Write down encouragement that people give you so you can read it when you are feeling this way.

Another reason I struggle to write is because emotionally or physically exhausted. In this case, take a break for a day or maybe two, but make sure you have a plan for when you will start writing again.

The cause of my lack of motivation isn't always immediately apparent, but I have yet to have 'writers block' without eventually finding a reason for it.
