Here's the thing. The Wasp books are written in a very tight (as in, may as well be first-person) third-person POV. Due to her upbringing there is a lot of vocabulary Wasp just doesn't have--about herself, about her world, about other people in it--and the words "aromantic" and "asexual" don't appear in the text as such. That said, romance and sex never once cross her mind in either book--though close platonic relationships very definitely do & form the backbone of both books (and all of my books, honestly). Without getting into spoilers, the Wasp books are built around two very strong platonic M/F relationships, one of which involves her and one of which does not. There is no sex or romance of any kind in ANY relationship in these books.
