As a retired cop, I've finally found a suspense/crime author that I can read. Most of those I've read have too many technical flaws to make me keep on reading. Tell me, do you have consultants in law-enforcement that advise you as you go along or is that all just from your background as a lawyer?

Robert Dugoni I had two homicide detectives assisting me. One has passed away, but I have another friend who is a cop that worked on the terrorism task force. So between the two of them I get a lot of help. But I can always use more. Seems I never get guns right. Thanks for your service.

Hi! I love this series. Wanted to ask 2 questions. Where do you get your inspiration? How are you able to seem to really take on a strong female personality and make it so real? I’m afraid I would have great difficulty writing primarily about another gender. You pull it off very well. So genuine.
