I am sorry it took me so long to respond.
The idea came from a piece of Kpop fan-art I saw online. It was a Halloween piece where one of the members was a vampire. The stark contrast of the lighting, where one half of the piece was completely dark and the other half was the idol's face was lit up. He had a hint of fang and blood at the corner of his mouth and the word 'beware' was repeated in the darkened half, it was really beautiful. Then a Smashing Pumpkins song popped in my head, only instead of 'The world is a Vampire', the phrase was 'My Stan is a Vampire' which was the original working title of Night Kiss. Thankfully, we changed it because the term 'stan' wasn't used correctly and Night Kiss is actually a translation of the words Bam Kiseu.
