I've been told this is a common first read for kids (think primary school) in Mexico, so a lot of my friends recommended this to me when I wanted to start reading in Spanish. Honestly though, this did not feel basic at all. Actually... I see myself picking this up whenever I need a fresh perspective. It's a book for life in my opinion.(less)
