A sequel to my debut novel, THE HENNA ARTIST. It takes place 10 years after. Some of the supporting characters have now grown up and play major characters in the new novel. I'm also drawing a graphic memoir about my family's first few years in America as immigrants. And I'm polishing up a short story about my jewelry obsession!

I was SO excited to see the Perfumist of Paris! It may be my favorite so far. Thank you SO MUCH for the huge gift in allowing us to live inside their lives. It moved me deeply to witness your treatment of Hari. It seems easy to find villains in the world, and much more difficult for the villains to be redeemed. I hope you have plans for many more stories for these characters. What comes next?
