Sherrilyn Kenyon People see what they want to see, and respond accordingly. How many times has someone said someone looks just like their father when they really look like their mother or vice versa? Better yet, I have jet black hair and brown eyes, just like my father. And I'm only 5 feet tall. When I was in high school, I was visiting my father with my best friend who has blond hair, blue eyes and is almost six feet tall. His best friend approached mine and said, "Sherri! It's so good to see you again. You look just like your mother!" My mother is also black-haired and my Nordic friend looks nothing like anyone in my family, least of all my Cherokee mother. So the answer is, people see what they want to see and what they expect to see. Whether it's right or wrong. Also, Urian's DNA did blend with that of his twin brother's as he spent time in the same womb. It's the same reason Styxx and Acheron are identical, even though they are not biologically related.
