In each book I've written, I've put a piece of myself in it. Some characters contain more of me than others. The characters I more directly related to were Beth from Dare You To and Haley from Take Me On.
There is a new character V (Veronica) from Only a Breath Apart who is getting her own book, Echoes Between Us. There is something I went through with my best friend in high school and something I went through with my son when he was younger that I gave Veronica that I highly relate to.
