Mitchel Rollins asked Andrew Rowe:

Are we going to see a hard number on the number of magic items a chaticter use before interference comes into play? For example. item slots One for each hand Legs Torso Head

Andrew Rowe I use clear "slots" for the RPG, but for the novels, it's deliberately a bit more nebulous. This is because the interference isn't a set amount per "slot", really, but based on the specific types of mana that the items output and the amount of power. A more powerful item will interfere with items that are further away, and items with compatible types will interfere with each other less (but still to some degree).
