Hi Andrew I hope you're having a good day :D! so I have a few questions about the mesmer and summoner attunements. First of all will the power of your spells as a summoner depend on your contracted creature? Is the effect of forgetting a mesmer like a guardian with a shroud, its passive but you can strengthen the effect or is it more like a active spell? Could a mesmer use the effect on a spell???

1. The effect of your spell as a Summoner depends on the spell itself and the amount of mana used. In most circumstances, your contract only dictates which mana types you have available, not the amount, and thus doesn't directly impact spell power. There can be unusual exceptions, like specific contracts that can provide greater-than-standard benefits for specific spell types as features aside from simply granting mana.
2. The Mesmer effect is a built-in attunement function that can be turned on, off, and enhanced. There are spells with similar effects as well, but they'd have to be learned.

O.O After reading the notes that Keras wrote on attunments and their levels and re-reading the appendix version of the same thing in the first book, it gave me a realization... After drinking the special water, her attunement changed like the description from Appendix in Book 1.. Is Sera a Citrine level now?? I mean she's scarred from the overuse of her mana right now, but if she was able to use it, would she be?? o.o
