I know that they fought and hurt each other at the beginning, but she hurt Chaol, and Rowan said the mating bond may have not have been in place yet. I mean hey, they'd just met, the mating bond wasn't going to snap into place like that! However I think overall I am Team Celaena/Aelin, and I think she will make the best choice for herself.

Although, I was re-reading Throne of Glass and I found that Celaena's description of freedom (during her initial conversation with Dorian) got me thinking... is it possible SJ Maas did some major foreshadowing in ToG???

"Of all the things he could have said, that was what she had least expected. "My freedom?" At the sound of the word, she saw a land of pine and snow, sun-bleached cliffs and white capped seas"

I read this and thought: who do we know who smells like pine and snow? Who has pine-green eyes? Who lives just over the sea in Wendlyn? ROWAN!!!

So I don't know if this means anything or hints at a future relationship with Rowan. Was just wondering if anyone else had thought this? :)(less)
