That's a really good observation and it would be so amazing if Sarah J. Maas was foreshadowing it that early. However much I'd like to believe and hope that it is foreshadowing however, a skeptical part of me thinks that Celaena will eventually end up with Chaol. Though I still wish she'd end up with Rowan.

I was so glad when she finally realised this at the end of Qos! It was a great ending to the book.
"Terrasen.
And that smell-of pine and snow...How had she never realized that Rowan's sent was of Terrasen, of home? Rowan came close enough to graze her shoulder and murmured, "I feel as if I've been looking for this place my entire life."

I haven't read QoS yet but I couldn't help looking at the spoiler. I was just gonna take a teeny tiny peek. And it made me squeal! Thanks for posting it, it makes me want to read the book more. Now I have something to look forward to. Good job on catching that foreshadowing!
