How do you deal with writer’s block?

L.E. Glazebrook I take a break and imagine that I've invited the character that's giving me grief to share a coffee with me. I ask the said ink brat, (ahem)… I mean, adorable ink child of mine... why they have stopped talking to me and I try to find a solution so that they stop sulking and resume communication. In my head it's basically an informal business meeting. I treat it like it's a real dialogue and I even take notes.
