L.E. Glazebrook Don't ever give up. It's going to take a lot of hard work and time for people to discover your work. Just accept that as fact. Never throw any of your drafts away. Certain paragraphs that may not work with your current story may be perfect for your next one. When you're not writing READ! Read everything.
L.E. Glazebrook The second book in the Tweldor World, "The Daughters' Return Free." You can read the first draft on Wattpad.

L.E. Glazebrook I take a break and imagine that I've invited the character that's giving me grief to share a coffee with me. I ask the said ink brat, (ahem)… I mean, adorable ink child of mine... why they have stopped talking to me and I try to find a solution so that they stop sulking and resume communication. In my head it's basically an informal business meeting. I treat it like it's a real dialogue and I even take notes.
L.E. Glazebrook "The only way I will ever allow you to leave me is through death."

"KILL ME!"
L.E. Glazebrook It really can be anything. The other day a friend's play on words gave me an idea for another story. Don't dismiss any single idea as a silly notion - write it down somewhere. Never throw out any drafts. You never know. I've had random ideas come together to create characters. Some of my favourite ink babies have been born this way.
L.E. Glazebrook I've always been confused about how perfectly normal, what we would usually call "good" people, could do sinister things. I would ask, "why?" but as a child no one could really give me an adequate answer. As an adult, I read a lot to try to understand the world around me. I recall reading an horrific news item about something online on the same day that I read a creepy urban legend about the black eyed children. This resulted in one of the most vivid nightmares I'd had in years. I wrote it down and it evolved into a book.
