Anyone else notice the how the story line mimicked the wheel of time? I liked most of the story and there is plenty of original plot so I will recommend it but it was very similar to other books, just more condensed.

Both are peoples of the same origin, refugees from the ancient times that chose completely different paths. I think I had noticed more similarities before but I've forgotten them since. It doesn't really bother me though. (less)
