Seriously, the magician, as Lev Grossman says, has the ability to take their pain and make the world what they want it to be. I would ... God, I can't even begin. Honestly? And this chokes me. I'd turn into a whale for a while. And if you've read The Magician King you know what I mean. I'd turn into a goddamn whale, and I'd listen to them sing, and learn their whale spells, because whales are actually magicians, did you know that? Now I'm crying, thanks Lev Grossman.
