Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

S.D. Stevens I love historical novels but what I don't like is how poorly girls and women were treated throughout our history. Yes, I know there are plenty of books that are about strong, influential women, however, after a long discussion with my daughter, who also writes, we came up with a world were women rule. And it snowballed from there.

My first book, introduces the Goddesses of the world we created and gives a little insight to why their magic is effected by dark forces.
