As both an indie author, do you find that it has an impact on the way that you read other indie works? Are you more or less critical?

Julia Goldhirsh I'd say I'm still pretty critical, but if I know that I didn't like it I try to be considerate of that author and message them with some constructive criticism rather than going and bashing them online. I definitely read Indie works thinking about they may not have had the money for professional formatting, editing, etc. and try to keep that in mind.
