Julia Goldhirsh My life isn't that mysterious, but I guess we have had some weird things happen with this house like stuff leaking out of nowhere and strange noises happening in the evening, so maybe that could be stretched to a haunted house plot for a book?

The only other thing I could think of is maybe the mystery of our heritage. We're Ukrainian Jews, so our records were burned. Our family tree stops abruptly after about 4-5 generations.
Julia Goldhirsh I really like Kristin Cashore's Graceling so I want to go there IF I get a grace of my own and get to meet the main character. Otherwise, I would say Narnia because I want to explore Narnia and see all of its magical creatures.
Julia Goldhirsh I'd say I'm still pretty critical, but if I know that I didn't like it I try to be considerate of that author and message them with some constructive criticism rather than going and bashing them online. I definitely read Indie works thinking about they may not have had the money for professional formatting, editing, etc. and try to keep that in mind.
Julia Goldhirsh I'm hoping to finish some works from fellow indie authors. Right now I'm reading Chymaera's Overture, bits and pieces, and The Tale of the Red Ribbon Dragon.
Julia Goldhirsh The best thing about being a writer is bringing the characters and worlds in my mind to life. I also love seeing when people have read and enjoyed my book.
Julia Goldhirsh I usually work on a different story for awhile. Sometimes I'll try writing prompts and that will spark my imagination enough to keep going.
Julia Goldhirsh Get editors that will push you to improve. Write and don't let anyone Convince you to stop. Start writing and publishing as young as possible.
Julia Goldhirsh I'm currently working on book 2 of the Spellbound Mini series, Cursed. It will tie up some parting questions the reader will have from book 1, and it is more focused on Gabriel's past and Gabriel and Rose's future together.
Julia Goldhirsh I often get inspired by weird dreams that I have. I also pull some ideas from reality on rare occasions where I decide to write dystopia. My fantasy stories are often inspired by mythology that I feel hasn't been talked about enough.
Julia Goldhirsh I got the idea back in high school. The inspiration just came out of the blue and the original idea was just for a short story of her trying to escape, but the idea grew and changed over time.
