If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Alma Katsu It's very early in the morning as I answer this question, so I'm not at my most imaginative, but I seem to like reading and writing about the Victorian and Edwardian eras, so I'd probably enjoy visiting. However, given that these eras were not particularly friendly to women, I may be in for a rude awakening.

I'm a recently self-published author (incidentally, I also wrote about witches). I find the biggest challenge is not writing the book, but ways to market my book and get exposure. I'm searching through good agencies and doing online marketing (in Amazon, Barnes Nobles, Google). Do you also have advice in this department? Thanks.

Started on your 'Fervor' and wanted to say, it's as engrossing as 'Hunger'! Will likely finish it late in bed and keep a light on 'cause it's scary!!!! ;) Where I live, trees get covered in a kind of 'spiderweb' each summer, causing them to look like skeletons in mesh. It's harmless, tree recover, once whatever insect is involved leaves. Is this similar to whatever inspired Japanese demons?

In The Fervor, I noted that the pastor, Archie, tries to enter an ICU at the hospital to visit a patient. ICU's didn't exist until the 50s, though. Did you do this intentionally to show that The Fervor is really about COVID and the modern context?
